I named a regional gold buyer and he informed me that the price tag per ounce for gold jewellery differs from the price tag for each ounce for gold bars. I imagined that it did not actually matter. I have pure 24 karat gold objects and I imagined I could get at minimum $1300 per ounce, the official cost for gold per ounce. Is this wrong? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
I don’t want to walk blindly into a jewelry store that advertises that they buy gold jewelry without having some kind of idea of what to expect. I figure I should go to several and then pick the best price, but I don’t know anything about gold pricing, etc.
I would like to sell some gold jewelry that I have. In total, the weight is about 4 ounces. What would this sell for if I were to sell it to a jeweler, pawn broker or gold buyer. Thank you

What carat of gold does Swarovski typically use in their gold jewelry? I recently received a Swarovski necklace worth around $140 as a birthday gift from my very sweet and generous boyfriend. I am interested to know the quality of gold used in it since it is something I would like to wear every day and keep in good condition for as long as possible.
Any info on this would be greatly appreciated!
I hear they pay well and have great incentives, does anyone have an idea how to apply for them? i tried online and in store and no one had an answer for me.
Pawn shops are making a killing off of gold jewelry. I want to cut out the middle man and do the work myself; purifying the gold back to 24K. Does anyone know the process?
I have been looking at selling some old and broken gold jewelry. I have looked at the websites of several places you can mail your gold to. The prices beat pawn shops. How much can I expect to get per ounce of 14k gold and has anyone had any good or bad experience in selling their gold?
I’ve never owned gold jewelry before lt alone held it in my hands in till today. I want to be sure that I don’t hurt it so here are some questions.
I have a 24 carat gold bracelet and necklace from Greece:
1) Can I sleep with it on?
2) Can I shower with it on?
3) Does it break easily?
4)How can I clean it?
5) Does it scratch?
If you could answer even one of these I would be grateful!

I’ve got a bunch of old gold jewelry pieces that I want to melt down and pour into mold.

I have a broken gold necklace and want to sell it. However, I have seen in many news stories that those gold buyers in the mall, and on TV, are scammers and only give you a fraction of the gold’s actual worth. Who should I look to sell to? Jewelry store?
I have a piece of gold pendant and i dont need it anymore, and im trying to send it to empire gold buyers and i was wondering if they would pay me anything for it?
I’m wanting to sell a gold bracelet, and I was wondering if a pawn shop or gold buyer would pay me more cash. I hear that pawn shops usually don’t pay you too much, but I’m skeptical of these gold buying services. I know a gold buyer is just going to melt it down so they only value its weight in gold; but a pawn shop or jewelry store may take the craftsmanship and quality into the picture. Does anyone have experience with this?
My sister- in- law gave me 10 $50.00 gold buffalo coins that she purchased 3/2011. Are they worth anything? How much gold do these coins have? Will gold buyers buy them?
I want to know what the gold buyer does after he has bought your gold at the store or in the mall at the stand?
