Different Advantages of using 3D Scans

Ultrasound technology has helped improve child health in a big way. You will not be able to find a baby who has never been scanned before he or she was born. These scans are very useful in early diagnosis of health issues with unborn babies. Instead of the old 2D scans, 3D Scans have become a possibility these days.

With these scans the sonogrphers are able to detect any problems that could be there with internal organs of babies. In case any diagnosis is made, quick reference to a fetal specialist could address the issue. There is no other technology as effective as ultrasound scans on detecting problems with internal organs of babies.

In addition to being a diagnostic tool, these scans could create bonds between mothers and unborn babies. This is because when the fetus is grown to a certain extent a mother could look at her baby through an ultrasonic scan to develop a strong bond with her baby.

So what exactly is a piezoelectric crystal? What does it consist of? Why is it so much used in ultrasound technology?
I don’t know too much about electromagnetism and voltages that apparentely are linked to a piezoelectric crystal, so I would be happy if someone could explain with some more detail the relationship between these! Thank you very much in advance!

No-one would waste their time on a “What white men have invented” website, because it would included 99.9% of things.

HI. I am investigating a career in sonography or ultrasound technology. What is the difference between the two occupations? And, any comments on the difference in the education required is also appreciated. Thank you.

I was on a website, youtube and cgtextures.com and I was redirected to a fake rouge antivirus where it tells me my computer has x amount of threats blah blah blah. I quickly alt F4d out and scanned my computer. Nothing came up so I hope I didnt get anything. First off can someone explain to me a little about this fake antivirus scareware. I dont believe I have a computer with trojans malware or viruses becuase its only 2 months old and dedicated to 3D work. It runs windows7 64bit. This is why I am thinking it was definately a redirect.

I already have a linux live CD, but is there a good linux live CD that has a good virus scanner. That way incase I ever did get a virus I could remove it without reinstalling the OS and all my software which would take atleast a day.
Adding to the question. It doesnt seem like either of these websites would redirect to a virus scam site. Is it possible that one of the adds on the sites slipped through Googles radar and was actuall bad? I am mostly concerned as to why this happened.

Ive got a fairly decent pc, 2.8 mghz,140 gig hard drive space,512 mb ram ( am planning to add at least another 512 next weekend). Ive got an ATI Raedeon graphics card, the 9200. I want a decent upgrade, one that will allow me to play most of the newest games on the market, and to be able to cope with 3d design packages like Maya and Autocad. Any recomendations? please only comment if u know what ur talking about. Also, im using DDR ram, but ive noticed that there are quite a few differents types of ddr ram, whats the difference and which is the best?
