i was ryna look for the rates online but i couldn’t seem to find it.
I wonder how much catering and other services would also cost.
I work at a hotel in a very popular ski town; weekends are when we make our money compared to weekdays.
In making reservations for my own vacation including Calgary and Toronto, I’ve noticed hotel prices are actually lower on weekends in these cities. Is this because they cater primarily to the business crowd? Why aren’t they more expensive on weekends, when I would think most people travel?
PS. I am referring to all hotel types
I am having my wedding in June 2010 and I live in Canada, Calgary-Alberta, and im just wondering what a ball park guess is for caterers. I am having about 100-120 people at my wedding. I would also like to have a buffet style, and not steak or anything, just the plain chicken and potatoes or something.. I am going to start calling around but im just trying to make my budget Thanks a bunch.

I’ve been trying to search how much any, Stampede job pays and havet really found anything. Also do you work all 10 days or just some of them? Thanx!
I’m considering doing ground travel to a place not too far away from here. Air travel is too expensive (especially since my trip won’t be too far into the future) so I’m considering going by train or even by bus (train is preferred.)
How do I go about searching for travel fare? I’m hoping there is a site similar to Priceline or Travelocity that deals with ground travel of this sort.
DETAILS: I’m hoping to travel a round-trip vacation between Portland, Oregon and Calgary, Alberta (Canada, of course). I’ll be travelling sometime this month.
Once again, I’m looking for help with finding places to get trainfare (or anything with ground travel) be it a Priceline-similar site or anything. I just need a way to find and compare prices for travelfare. Any hints, ideas, suggestions? Any help is much appreciated!
I’m a Singaporean-born American citizen currently studying in Calgary and I can’t help but think that the US is the only country that takes issue with the whole Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays thing.
Everywhere else in the world if someone wishes you a happy/merry something you thank them and return the sentiments. I know it’s mostly the same in the US, but I don’t understand why anyone would take offense.
In the summer I’m planning to go to Barrie Ontario to see my dad. I live in Calgary. The Greyhound Website didn’t say what it would cost. Help ?
How many hours by plane is it from calgary, AB to Toronto, Brampton?
How many hours by plane is it from Toronto to London, England.

We are going to have about 20-30 people at our BBQ and are planning on cooking hamburgers but not sure what else. Probably will deep fry a turkey too – or does that not go well? We Asked everyone to bring a side dish but I wanted to make a few things too. I would rather not make pasta or potato salad because i’m sure everyone else will bring that. I am thinking some varieties of dips? a few easy desserts? Let me know, i’m horrible at party planning, please help!
I’m going to be in Edmonton for about 4 days (Thursday thru Sunday) and want to know what things I absolutely have to do/see/hear/eat. What restaurants are best, what pubs are great, what sights should I see, etc? I have access to a car, so stuff you have to drive to is also cool. (PS I already know all about West Edmonton Mall.)
I make a damn good bbq sauce that I usually rub on the tops of the burgers in the last five minutes of cooking. But I was wondering if it would be better to mix it in with the actual burger. Would that burn it?
Any chefs out there know the pros and cons for both?
