Benefits of Playing Wii games

Many people are excited about the wii video game system because of the many features it purports to offer. The interface is designed in a manner that discourages one from playing for very long time periods. It also needs movements that help one to stand up and do some activity. To play wii games, you need to ether buy wii point cards or seek for ways to obtain free wii points. If you have already discovered how to get wii points, here is a good way to put them into good use. Get a dancing video game that can help you to keep fit and healthy by engaging your muscles. Whichever choice you make, wii games are able to exercise your muscles and the brain giving you more strength as a result. If you are not able to get out and exercise as much as you require, playing wii games could be of much benefit.

I’m a Wii virigin and can’t wait to get going when I get my console next week. Can anyone point me in the right direction for some suitable games? I’m looking for something that can get me moving (but not too much), as I have limited mobility, but benefit from light exercise. I like the look of Trauma Centre and the Boogie one – are they any good? I will be left to my own devices during the week, so would like games that are good for one person play. I’m not too keen on war/action type games.

    Any suggestions, folks?!
ps. I’m a bit of a girlie girl!

I already have a 360, but am thinking about asking for a Wii for my birthday
I tend to play a lot of movie games or childish games alongside RPG’s etc. and I know wii’s are good for this so is it worth having both?

Also I want to lose weight by doing more exercise but I find the gym so boring and after playing wii sports at a friends it was much more fun…and all my local gym has is weights and a step up machine. not great. I know it’s not primarily for exercise but considering I do like NONE at the moment surely i will benefit, especially if I get wii fit.

    Thanks :)

It’s not because of the price, but of the screen time!
They say we don’t need another screen in the house,
but the thing is they don’t want another tv either!
We only have once tv and my sister uses it more than I.
So how can i get them to buy me and my sis a Wii?

My husband wants a Wii for his birthday and while we have pretty much always kept gaming systems out of the house I was thinking it might be fun. I do not know what the benefits are over the xbox or the p.s. and he tried to explain them. If you could give me brief non-tech versions of his answers that would be great.

Like he said it was backwards compatible do you know what consuls/games and how far back that stretches?

    What other benefits are there?

Where would be a good place to purchase this (his birthday is around the same time as christmas, does that make purchasing it a moot point?)

Are there any other components I should consider getting that are not a part of the basic package?

I’m looking for a list of games that benefit from having at a Nunchuk attachment per player.

I have two nunchuks now, and want to know what games I can now play that I wouldn’t have been able to get the most out of before.

I know Super Smash Bros. Brawl benefits a lot, but that still hasn’t had an announce date in New Zealand yet, so that’s still out.
Of course, the Wii comes with one nunchuck. I’m looking for multiplayer games here.

If I use my Wii Fit 3 or 4 times a week instead of going to the gym, will the benefits be the same?

Also, the running game (where you run in one spot) is that effective, and how does it compare to going for an actual jog?
